Last night my husband and I went to my mom’s to watch the Superbowl (we’re football people). We left around 9:30 or so, and discovered that it had snowed…again. And a lot.
I don’t mean to beat a dead horse with these entries, but really. I drive a 2001 Dodge Neon with four not so great tires. And considering nothing had been plowed last night while we were driving home, I get the feeling that today is going to be a doozy (yes, I said doozy…I just hope I’m spelling it right).
If I didn’t have to drive in the stuff, I would totally love the snow. It is pretty when it first falls, and I don’t mind the cold. But c’mon, a Dodge Neon.
I have a 2001 Neon also. It’s our daily driver, and actually it’s the one I prefer when it snows. It seems to handle a lot better than the truck, or SUV *shrugs*
PLEEEEEEEASE send us some of the cold wet stuff. It is in the 70’s again today. I need a breeze to bump out the muggy air.
My best-friend since kindergarten moved to Chicago a few years ago. I’m still resentful of the move. I refuse to even listen to her complaints about snow.
You, however, are welcome to complain to your heart’s content.
Red – maybe it’s a driver thing then. I do so enjoy the feeling of driving down a side street sideways. It may also be a tire thing. I haven’t replaced the things since I bought the car.
Betme – I would love to send you some of this stuff. I love 70 degree weather, but if it’s muggy you can keep it.
Allison – Thank you. I do think it’s really dangerous to encourage one’s complaining habit though. I will try to keep the snow complaints to a minimum though.
