Will you be my sister?
You bet!
Yay!
Actually, based on this list, you and I have a fair amount in common. Cool! (At least I desperately hope it’s cool.)
Cool indeed! I’ve always wanted to ride a bike if that helps the things we have in common. Then again, you actually ride…I merely think about it.
We have 101, 92, 91, 72, 68, 60, 58, 50, 47, 46, 45, 42, 40, 39, 35, 35, 35, 31, 30, 24, 20, 19, 15, 3, and 1 in common. Isn’t it obnoxious that I just sat here and did that? And, yes, I purposely put 35 in the list 3 times because that’s how much I agree.
I actually had to reread my whole list. I forgot a lot of the stuff that I put on there. I had to know what 35 was to know why you agreed so strongly, and you are right. I would have put it three times too if I thought that it would have counted.
Okay, so I randomly clicked on this blog and really love your post
I think I’m going to do one of my own . . . which leads to my really weird comment below, describing the ones we have in common:
This list is awesome. I’ve got 1, 2, 3, 17, 18 [you only wrote ONE paper like that? For me, it's every paper, which teachers would find stunning because I'm a straight-A student], 19, 21, 26, 30, 34 [I read the same 8 in the same order every day compulsively for the last 2 or 3 years], 40, 42, 47, 48, 50, 55, 57, 58, 94 [I mean, if I had a husband, I would be. But alas, I am still in high school], 99, almost 100 [I've been hanging out at my middle school library and helping out every Tuesday and Wednesday for 5 years, but officially did community service there for one] 101.
Let me start off by saying, welcome. Take off your shoes and make yourself comfortable. When I say I once wrote a paper like that, I mean that that was the first time. It was an incredibly successful first time, and I discovered I could rock papers out like that in my freshman year of high school so I could therefore wait until the last possible minute to write all major papers until 12 hours before they were due. I actually started writing a paper in my first period class that was due in my 7th period, that one didn’t do so well though which is why I didn’t mention it. The library was good for awhile, and then it wasn’t, but more power to you! Sarcasm is a must here, if you do not posses it, this is not the place for you.
I once had to write “a mythical story” for my 9th grade English class, which was in 6th period. I had Spanish in 5th period. I wrote the entire story on the spot in 5th period (I had Hercules and a bunch of other mortal heros ascend to Olympus and kill the gods, thereby instituting the rule of man), THEN went back and wrote a “rough draft” and inserted intentional errors so I could mark them up with editorial marks.
Got an A.
But I’ll admit, that’s not the same as a research paper with notes and stuff. Vastly easier to write fiction like that.
I would have killed for a mythical story. That would have made life so much easier. You were seriously lucky.
